Yellow Perch
Available upon request - April & November

A Lake Erie favourite for experienced anglers and kids alike, the yellow perch is staging a comeback in the Western Basin of Lake Erie. Spring and fall perch fishing outings may be available. These abundant fish provide plenty of action and great eating as well.

Traditionally, perch are fished using live bait and caught in bunches once a school has been located. Willing biters, there's nothing that compares to a mess of just-caught perch served piping hot as part of a Canadian shore lunch. And, with generous catch allowances, there's usually enough left to take home for a family fish fry later.
